Pricing and discounts

New:  Ed will provide former federal employees who have been recently separated from service with deep discounts on a sliding scale basis (not listed below) with coaching and/or navigating the federal hiring process. Please email ed.ames.coaching@gmail.com for additional information and to setup a time to discuss possible options. 

Pricing

The following are Ed's coaching and career planning costs and discounts. Payments are due in advance for "prepaid services" or after each service or product is provided. If a client is not satisfied with the service provided, they will not be expected to make payment.  Please be sure to read the notes section regarding "no shows" additional discounts," and refunds.

Coaching

• 1 hour in person or phone session $220.00 

• 30 minute in person session $150.00 (only if agreed to before the date of the already scheduled meeting time)

• 30 minute phone/video session $120.00 (only if agreed to before the date of the already scheduled meeting time)

• Same day phone/video appointment request $95.00 for each 15 minutes -- minimum 30 minutes

• Same day in person appointment request $120.00 for each 15 minutes -- minimum 30 minutes

Coaching Discounts

• Purchase 6 1-hour coaching sessions in advance for use over a 6 month period and receive a $150 discount. 

• Purchase 12 1-hour coaching session in advance for use over a 12 month period and receive a $400 discount.

• Prior to the advance purchase of either prepaid services, a 30 minute complimentary video or phone session is available for first-time clients.

• If the client chooses not to purchase advanced sessions and pay per session, the 30 minute scheduled session fee* will apply.

Navigating the federal hiring process

Services may include providing information, providing advice, consulting, or reviewing job posting information with clients, and preparation for interviews.  

• 1 hour in person or phone session $220.00 

• 30 minute in person session $150.00 (only if agreed to before the date of the already scheduled meeting time)

• 30 minute phone session $120.00 (only if agreed to before the date of the already scheduled meeting time)

• Same day phone appointment request $95.00 for each 15 minutes -- minimum 30 minutes

• Same day in person appointment request $120.00 for each 15 minutes -- minimum 30 minutes

Resume and Other Documents Review

Services include reviewing resumes and cover letters to enhance content, provide recommendations, proofreading, and final drafts

• $400.00 per hour with a one week turnaround/4 hour minimum

• $1,500.00 prepaid for four hours with a two week turnaround

• $600.00 per hour for expedited requests (less than a week)/4 hour minimum

• $2,300.00 prepaid for four hours expedited requests

Resume Writing

Services include reviewing and/or writing resumes, cover letters, and “KSAs”  

• $500.00 per hour with a two week turnaround/4 hour minimum 

• $1,800.00 prepaid for four hours with a two week turnaround 

• $800.00 per hour for expedited requests/4 hour minimum

• $3,000.00 prepaid for four hours expedited requests

Notes

1. Any appointment/call “no shows” by the client or less than a 24 hour cancellation may result in the full fee of the scheduled appointment type.

2. Coaching fees are due at the beginning of each session.  “No show” and less than 24 hour cancellation notice fees are due prior to the next scheduled session.    

3. Coaching and Navigating the Federal Hiring Process discounts are available for military servicemembers and their spouses, military veterans, and individuals over 55.

4. Third party payments are accepted on behalf of individual clients, such as for a gift, an employer or nonprofit organization.

5. Full or partial refunds may be provided to clients for prepaid services.  Any such refunds must be requested in writing by the client and any information that may justify the request.  Any full or partial refunds will be at the sole discretion of Ed Ames.  Ed reserves the right to provide or not provide any explanation of his decision to grant or deny a full or partial refund.
